Patients who volunteer and are selected for a clinical trial participate at no cost to them or their insurance companies. Patients are required to have regular office visits and follow all the treatment protocols. Medications and all exams are free; in addition, most stufies reimburse participants for time and travel. All research programs have been approved by institutional review boards, maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety guidelines.
