The Dermatology Group is dedicated to keeping current with the latest research and having the most advanced equipment. In fact, we often perform clinical research trials at this practice. We are constantly implementing new therapies for the most difficult systemic diseases, bullous (blistering) disorders, and other dermatological conditions, both common and rare. These are just a few of the most exciting new advancements available at The Dermatology Group:

Biological immune modulators (such as Amevive and Enbrel) to treat psoriasis at the immune system, where it begins.
Digital mole mapping to improve detection of new skin cancers in patients with a history of melanoma or lots of moles, while reducing the need for biopsies and surgeries.
CoolTouch laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) photorejuvenation, which reduce wrinkles, brown spots, and other signs of aging with less redness swelling, and downtime. You can have these treatments on your lunch hour and go right back to work.
A variety of skincare products. Because we’re not tied to any manufacturers and have no financial stake in any particular product, we’re free to offer whatever is new and most promising.
Mohs micrographic surgery provides the highest cure rate for nonmetastasized skin cancers, with the best cosmetic result. This advanced technique involves removing the visible cancer, then examining the removed skin under a microscope to ensure that all the remaining cells are noncancerous. The procedure continues until no more cancer cells are found.
